Commonly Found- Mediterranean, Japan, Canary Isles, Malaysia, Australia, Hawaii

Common Colors- White, Light pink or salmon to blood red.

The darker red the coral the rarer and more expensive it is.

Hardness- 3 - 4

Special Care- Very porous, sensitive to heat and acids, chemicals.

Color can fade with age.

Mystical Healing Properties- Coral has been used to build emotional stability in the wearer.

White coral is thought to bring balance and relaxation to the wearer. Pink coral is used with

platonic love, and building good relationships within a community, while red coral enhances

creativity, passion, romantic love and wisdom. Black coral is thought to absorb negative energy

while giving the wearer serenity. Coral is also thought to strengthen bones and protect them from breaking.
