and to decrease self pity and doubt.  Garnet helps past problems to resolve and

make ways for life changes.  In ancient times garnet was believed to have very

powerful healing abilities and was used for most blood disorders and for the removal

of toxins in the body.  Garnet was thought to work to work on tissue damage and was

used for frostbite, arthritis, and bruises.  In Greco-Roman tradition it was believed to

bring wealth to the wearer if the garnet was carved with a dragon.
