HISTORY 1972: Touch of Silver is started as a Spoon Ring and Beaded jewelry stand in Nashville in front of the Gypsy Pot. It was owned and operated by Albert Drake and Carol Balcerak. The couple made jewelry during the week and sold it on the weekends.
1974: Touch of Silver is moved into a shop into Albert's Mall, a permanent location just outside of town.
1982: Now named Touch of Silver, Gold & Old, the shop is moved back into Nashville. The old state bank building becomes its new home.
2006: After growing for 24 years Touch of Silver, Gold & Old has outgrown the old state bank building. A location directly across the street becomes available after the previous owners retire and the shop is moved into its new location in early February.
