Common Colors- All shades of blue, sometimes with white or gold flecks

Hardness- 5 - 6

Special Care- Lapis is sensitive to acids, pressure, and high temperature.

Mystical Healing Properties- Lapis is one of the most ancient ornamental stones and has

been used by humans as ornamentation since antiquity. It is one of the first gemstones

mentioned in the bible and it is thought to protect the wearer from evils. It is thought

to contain energies of nearly all aspects, in varying quantities depending on the stone, and

depending on the wearer; meaning that one stone may do different things for different people.

A piece of lapis with a good quantity of white can help with intuition.
