Alloy composition's - For jewelry either a 90% alloy or 100% platinum is used

 

Most commonly used - Many. Catalytic converter in vehicles; medical gene therapy; thermometers; spark plugs;

    photography; and, of course, jewelry.

 

Mystical healing properties - It has been said that if all the world's platinum reservoirs were poured into

one Olympic size swimming pool, it would be scarcely deep enough to cover your ankles; whereas gold

would fill more than three such pools [wikipedia.com].  (please do not attempt, molten platinum is very hot)

The extremely rare quality of platinum has made it highly sought and much legend follows it.  Platinum is thought

to be an illuminating metal, and to have the power to reflect negative energies back at the source.  Platinum is

considered incorruptible, and therefore it does not need to be cleansed.
